How long should it take for a priority package to be shipped?

A medium box of photos was shipped priority mail through the USPS from Northern Minnesota on Friday June 27th to Southern Florida and I still haven’t received it. I know it only takes 4 days to get stuff from Nebraska, and it’s been over a week now. Should I be worried? The sender is an idiot and didn’t get insurance or a tracking number. How long should it take to get here??

Ok I am doing my own photography business…I have NO clue what to price, but I want to be different than studios, and not the same because then its like well you might as well go to a studio then have me do them…I started doing my childrens pics last summer and I have had 3 photo shoots for other people…I had a senior shoot yesterday at the botanic gardens..Here is what I have been doing and my family says im crazy to do this and im not making enough by doing it this way, and i want to charge more, but i am just so confused…Ok I am charging 25 to do the session and then I email all pics and put them on a cd for the customer…Usually 30 to 40 pics…I do editing and collages as well..So for everything they pay 25, but they have to go get the pics printed still and pay for that wherever they choose…Please help me figure out the prices…Thanks

Senior Pictures. he doesn’t want to get paid. I want to pay for his time what do I do?

Okay so I am re-taking some senior pictures and a friend of mine who takes these photos for a part-time job said that he wouldn’t mind taking them. Then I asked how much he would want for the photos and he said ‘nothing’. We argued for a few minutes before he said that if I took him out to lunch we could call it even.
I said that was fine and let it go. Now though I want to still pay him for his time, as I did with the other photos, but I don’t know how to do this without fighting with him about it.

How can I pay him for his time, photos and talent without causing a fight between us? He is a really good friend and a pro. I dunno what to do….. any suggestions?

I am a senior in high school and I have seen that for senior portraits it cost about $300 to $500. this type of deal only cost around $30 at walmart or costco to print a bunch of wallets, 8×10, 5×7, you name it. Photographers are making bank on a 1-2 hour photo shoot.

I would like to do senior portraits of my friends and make a little profit. I was thinking of charging $50 an hour. I am in photography, I have done it at school and in 4-H, won in photo shows, went to state and got first. I have a nice camera canon rebel digital. I don’t have all the lighting equipment so I would shoot outdoors.

HOW DO I LEGALLY DO SENIOR PORTRAITS?? WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE LEGAL??

WHAT SHOULD I CHARGE? ANY OTHER TIPS OR ADVICE FOR ME??
